The web browser, game or Office program is not displayed correctly on the virtual screen
ProblemThe web browser, game or Office program is not displayed correctly on the virtual screen, or the screen turns blank when the game screen mode is changed to full screen mode.
CauseIs ‘Twomon Virtual Display’ in the Options of the PC program set to ON when Twomon is connected?
Some application programs are not displayed properly on the virtual screen because the Twomon display driver is S/W based and does not support the H/W graphic acceleration function.
Twomon configures the virtual expanded screen in the mode selected in ‘Twomon Virtual Display’ of the PC program.
1. Twomon virtual display OFF
The expanded screen is configured using the graphic driver provided by the system,
and is highly compatible with and can use the H/W acceleration function supported by the application program.
2. Twomon virtual display ON
The expanded screen is configured using the Devguru Twomon WDDM display driver provided by the PC program
and delivers superior performance to Twomon virtual display ON. However, as it does not support hardware graphic acceleration,
some application programs that use the function may not operate properly.
Disable the H/W acceleration function in the web browser.[Windows/Mac]
- Internet Explorer
Check ‘Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering*’ in Internet options > Advanced tab > Accelerated graphic.
Uncheck ‘Use hardware acceleration if possible’ in Chrome custom setting and control - Setting - Advanced setting and control
> Setting > Advanced setting display > System in the upper right corner of the browser
Set Twomon virtual display to OFF before the connection.※ The Twomon virtual display function is supported in Windows 7 or higher.
If Twomon virtual display is set to OFF, the virtual expansion screen can be configured with the system driver
to improve the screen display compatibility.
Disable the H/W graphic acceleration function in the application program. In an environment comprising dual or more monitors where Twomon virtual display is set to ON,
a display problem can be corrected by disabling the ‘Hardware graphic acceleration’ function in the application program option
causing the problem or by changing the ‘Full screen mode’ to ‘Window mode’
I cannot use the virtual extended screen
ProblemAfter Twomon is connected to the PC, the virtual extended screen will not be displayed in the app, and only the PC screen will be displayed. There is no virtual extended screen that can be selected in the menu.
CauseThe following may cause a failure to display the virtual extended screen or result in its unavailability.
- The virtual extended screen is configured, but the PC displayed is copied by the app.
- The position or resolution of the PC display is changed, and thus the virtual extended screen previously connected cannot be found.
- An error occurred from the Devguru Twomon WDDM/XPDM display adapter that configures the virtual extended screen
(error codes 10, 28, 31, 37 and 43).
- The OS is not supported, or the environment does not support Twomon.

then you may try bring the menu after enabling this mode.
Connect Twomon products after enabling the Twomon Virtual DisplayNote: ‘Twomon virtual display’ is available only in Windows 7 or higher.
If the virtual extended screen is not created, you can solve the problem by changing ‘Twomon virtual display.’
Change ‘Twomon virtual display’ in the ‘Display setting’ menu of the Twomon PC program while Twomon is not connected
to the PC and then connect it to the app.
'Twomon virtual display' is a new function that has been added to increase the display compatibility of application
programs that use the virtual extended screen in Windows 7 or higher. It can select the driver for the virtual extended screen.
The benefit of using the virtual extended screen with ‘Twomon virtual display’ set to ON is that it supports higher resolution
and increases the screen output performance in Windows 7. However, there is a limitation in that the application program
that supports the hardware acceleration function may not work properly.
The benefit of using the virtual extended screen with ‘Twomon virtual display’ set to OFF is that it is highly compatible
with application programs that support the hardware acceleration function. The weak point is that the performance of the
virtual extended screen may be poor if the Twomon virtual display is set to ON under Windows 8 or higher.
The recommended environment for using the Twomon virtual display set to OFF is as follows:
1) The graphic card must support the virtual display when enabled;
2) a video port to enable virtual display must be available; and
3) the OS should be Windows 7 or higher.
Reinstall the Devguru Twomon WDDM/XPDM display adapter driverIf the virtual extended screen cannot be used while 'Twomon virtual display' is set to ON, check if the display driver is running properly.
If it is not, reinstall the driver manually and then connect the PC to the app in order to use the virtual extended screen.
Check if the environment supports TwomonTwomon cannot be used in Windows 7 Starter, in Windows installed through the boot camp, or in a virtual machine environment.
The resolution of the virtual extended screen cannot be changed
ProblemThe resolution of the virtual extended screen is fixed to 1280*720 and cannot be changed in the PC system.
CauseIf the resolution of the virtual extended screen configured with 'Twomon virtual display’ set to OFF cannot be changed,
the following may be the reason.
- The display driver that creates the virtual extended screen is not set to change the resolution.
Change the 'Twomon Virtual Display' to ON and connect.Note: 'Twomon virtual display' is available only in Windows 7 or higher.
Since the resolution can be changed from the Twomon virtual display driver, set ‘Twomon Virtual Display’ to ON in order to
change the resolution of the virtual extended display.
Set ‘Twomon virtual display’ in the display setting menu of the Twomon PC program to ON while Twomon
is not connected to the PC and then connect it to the app.
Upgrade the display driver of the graphic card to the latest version. The virtual extended screen is configured with the graphic card driver in the PC if the Twomon virtual display is set to OFF.
The resolution of the virtual extended screen can be changed if the display driver of the graphic card is upgraded to the latest version.
The PC and the app in the same network cannot be connected
ProblemThe list of PCs connectable to the app is not displayed.
CauseIf the PC and the device are not connected in the same network band or the Twomon PC program is not allowed by the firewall, the PC may not be displayed.
Connect the PC and the device in the same network band.[Windows/Mac]
Check if the PC and the device are connected through the same network.
Add the PC manually and connect it.[iOS/Android]
Add the IP address of the PC in the same network band manually to the app and connect it.
Set the firewall of the PC to allow the 'Twomon PC Program' for communication.[Windows/Mac]
Set the firewall of the PC to allow the 'Twomon PC Program' and rerun the PC program to connect TwomonAir.
Repeated failure of Google account login
Problem※ Login to a Google account is needed to use TwomonAir when connected to a different network.
Therefore, a TwomonUSB user does not need to login to the Google account. Moreover, the function is available only to users of TwomonAir connected to an iOS.
The following message is displayed after the failure of login to a Google account.
"Failed to log in to a Google account. The e-mail address or password is invalid. Please try again.”
CauseThe Google account may require 2-level password validation.
“App access with low security” may not be set in the Google account setting.
Using 2-level validation of Google passwordIf you use 2-level validation of a Google password, use the "application password" to use TwomonAir.
Please refer to “Logging in with an app password” in the Google Guide for more detailed information.
